Hi Jayant,
Thanks for featuring my picture on your blog ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/r4vi/276641593/ ) , I just wanted you to know that the lights are on British streets. It was taken in Leicester, UK where the biggest celebration of Diwali in the world outside of India takes place.
You may enjoy seeing what the celebrations look like in video, luckly someone has posted a youtube video from pretty much the same spot I took the picture from: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Qsp4vR7-7OM
Regards,
Ravi
