Durga, also know and Shakti among other names is holy goddess of the Hindus. Popularly known as Maa Durga, Durga Devi or Durga Thakur, the goddess is termed as supreme and worshiped by all Indians. Bengalis (people from Bengal) have a Big festival after her. The same goes with Gujrathis (People from Gujrat) as they relate her to Maa Ambe adn have a 9 day festival worshiping her.
